31 Day Challenge, Day 09: Rainbow

Well dudes and dudettes, today is rainbow day. I wanted to do something that was really nail-arty so I could continue to practice my technique. I'm really excited about this design, even though there are a few little flaws execution wise. I'm still learning. :)

I bust out my good camera for these photos, so the pics look really nice but unfortunately you can see every tiny detail! Hahah. Anyway, I thought this would be a cute interpretation of the theme.

I decided to go with a warm rainbow so that it wasn't overwhelming - I wanted a lot of the sky color to still be visible. I tried out some different color combinations for the three colors in the rainbow, but I found these were the ones that worked the best. All nail art was done with a dotting tool, including the cloud french tips. I wish I could use a brush but I am just no good at it! Or, I need to get a better brush. Both are probably true.

China Glaze - Sky High Top
China Glaze - White On White
Wet N Wild - Everybody Loves Redmond
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Sun Kissed
China Glaze - Happy Go Lucky

In planning this mani I made a Photoshop mock up of it. I thought it was kind of cool and would make a good addition to the post, so here it is! I am usually a much better Photoshopper than this. There's your disclaimer.
