Today's indie polish comes from Pretty and Polished. This is called Bubble Tea and it's quite unique. It's definitely not a polish that will appeal to everyone, but I did enjoy wearing it a lot.
Bubble Tea is a semi sheer yellow-green based polish with sparse black glitter and tiny whitish (almost clear really) glitter bits throughout. If you are unfamiliar with what bubble tea is in real life, it is usually a milk or fruit tea with big tapioca pearls in the bottom. It comes with a big straw so the pearls come up as you are drinking it and you can eat them! I love it. Here is a photo courtesy of Wikipedia:
So as you can see, the black glitter in this polish is meant to represent the tapioca balls in the bubble tea. I believe I used two coats in this swatch, but I probably had to fill in a few areas, effectively making it 2 and a half coats. :)
The only thing that I found confusing about this polish were the black smudges. They were barely noticeable in person but once I was editing the photos I saw them. I don't know if they are a byproduct of the black glitter or what. They could have started showing up because I was storing this upside down to make it easier to access the black glitter pieces. I don't know.
Chelsea recently mentioned that she will probably only be restocking this one two or three more times, so if you want it, keep a close eye on her Facebook page and Etsy shop!
