Geek Chic Cosmetics Star Sprinkles and Malefic

Are you guys familiar with the makeup brand Geek Chic Cosmetics? While they have always had a number of cosmetic options, they've recently expanded their brand to include a new line of lacquers just ready for the paintin'! There are two now and more to come in the future.

Star Sprinkles is a delightful glitter topper! This clear base is packed with rainbow glitters, silver shimmer, and pretty matte blue stars. It was nicely dense, needing only one coat for the photo below. I've layered it over OPI You're Such a Budapest.

Where Star Sprinkles is cheery and playful, Malefic is broody and moody. This deep purple base is accented by green shimmer, iridescent glitters, and black shreds. I used two coats here. I thought that the glitters got a little buried within the base, but I'm told that after I received my bottle, GCC made the base a little more transparent to show them off better.

Here are some photos of Malefic in direct light. You can see in the second photo that the shimmer is duochromatic and will turn pinky purple at the right angles.
