Springtime Starbursts - China Glaze City Flourish Nail Art

Springtime is my favorite season. The weather is perfection, the smell of orange blossoms is everywhere, and the nail polish palettes are bright and pretty. China Glaze's new City Flourish collection celebrates the feel of spring in an urban environment, and so far, I've been loving the shades! My starburst nail art uses two of them.

This is a pretty simple and quick design, because sometimes it's nice to get to enjoy a bit of nail art without spending a ton of time on it.

The lighter purple shade is China Glaze Lotus Begin, while the darker, blue-leaning purple is China Glaze What a Pansy. The starburst details were freehanded on with a nail art brush while the dots on my thumb were placed with a dotting tool. I found the formula of both polishes to be agreeable, and they wore nicely on me for the few days that I sported this manicure.

Painting this starburst reminded me of my candy pinwheel nail art, just without curving the lines. For those of you that are a little less confident with a nail art brush, you could certainly achieve a similar effect with tape, too!

  6. Yes, sometimes it is good not to spend your whole day on a single mani. The simpler ones often look better too. *go figure.*

And I actually do have a couple of questions for you if it's allright.
Is it simply me or does it give the impression like a few of the comments look
as if they are coming from brain dead people? :-P And, if you are posting at additional places, I would like to follow everything fresh you have to
post. Could you make a list of the complete urls of your community sites like your
