I'm a newer reader as well, but I like that idea... you pick an older post that you have done and have your followers submit recreations in different color schemes or something. Plus guest posters are always fun to read, especially from newbie bloggers or people that don't normally blog and use other outlets instead. :) Good luck deciding!!amandanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5116897484403806316.post-49691694285740800042014-01-06T19:59:27.145-07:002014-01-06T19:59:27.145-07:00I would never have known you were struggling with ...I would never have known you were struggling with inspiration lately based on your posts -- they're all absolutely perfect! It gave me some space to clear my mind and relax a bit more about the whole blogging thing, and it made me also fall in love with it all over again! I'm familiar with the watercolor technique, but to make this work you mix the polish with the acetone or thinner before painting onto the nail, right? I usually dot polish on the nail then take the fluffy acetone brush to spread it around the nail, which won't work to make specific shapes like this.Victorianoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5116897484403806316.post-13103009165966795252014-01-02T16:39:50.610-07:002014-01-02T16:39:50.610-07:00Thank you Laura! I can only imagine what it must be like to have been doing this for 3 years...and I hope that you find you always do what YOU want to do and let us soak up your enthusiasm for it. I'd say - don't worry about what we want, per se. I also gave this a bit of thought - and well, Ed below - beat me to a few ideas for you that could supplement some 100% post time, I especially liked showcasing others re-creating your designs, as I know you have many, many "I can do that too" posters out there. And, I know I enjoy seeing recreations of past ideas/designs - whether they are just a comparison Then/Now and what you've learned in between or working with ideas you liked and re-working them. Hope this helps! Happy New Year! Something else that might be fun would be a feature post of manicures you inspired. Or ask people to recreate a specific one of your manis and either post links or photos. I tried to think of things that wouldn't involve you sitting down and creating a new nail design and write up for every post. Although both options would still take effort, it's a different type of work. Both of those posts are ones I would read. (I'm new reader, so apologies if I've mistakenly suggested things you already do or have previously expressed an opinion on.)Ed Donahuehttp://crosscountrybeauty.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5116897484403806316.post-86221804453586098042013-12-29T13:30:03.917-07:002013-12-29T13:30:03.917-07:00gorgeousgorgeousDanishahttp://www.danishaz.com/noreply@blogger.com
