My journey into nail art and blogging began in July 2011, when I saw a leopard print nail art tutorial and just had to try it myself. I have such a special place in my heart for this medium and the wonderful people I have met in the community, and have learned so much from many talented nail artists.
Chalkboard Nails focuses on nail polish and nail art. It features pictorials and video tutorials ranging from beginner to advanced, freehand designs, swatches, and reviews. My work has been featured on The Today Show, Nail It! Magazine, NAILPRO Magazine, Redbook, and more. I've also had the opportunity to film tutorials for Oxygen's television series Nail'd It!, and coauthored Pretty Hands and Sweet Feet in 2015. I was named Phoenix New Times' Best Nail Artist in 2016 and 2018.
