Good morning! Today's post features two new holographic lacquers from the Cirque Objet d'Art Collection. I will be showing you more of the polishes from this collection in the future but thought I'd show these two lovelies first.
Cypress is a copper metallic polish with a very strong linear holo effect. In these first two photos, I've shown Cypress in my somewhat-indirect lightbox lighting. At its least holo, it looks like a pretty copper metallic. I wore two coats in all of the photos below.
These three photos show Cypress in the direct light of my lightbox lamp -- this is how it looked in sunlight, too. You can see the holo effect is quite strong!
Lonesome George is the other holographic polish in this collection. It is a pretty forest green shade. I wore three coats for these photos. Again, let's first look at the "indirect" lighting shots.
Here are the direct lamplight photos (similar to the way it looks in direct sunlight). As you can see, the holo effect isn't quite as strong as Cypress', but absolutely still visible and definitely gorgeous.
I wore Cypress as a full manicure, and the wear time wasn't super long, but that is fairly standard for many holos you'll find and is likely somewhat dependent on the base coat you use. These Cirque holos don't require any special nail prep or aqua base coat, which is definitely a plus, and they dry very quickly on their own.
The Cirque Objet d'Art Collection is available for purchase now on cirquecolors.com as well as from international stockists Pshiiit Boutique and Mei Mei's Signatures. The holographic lacquers retail for $15. You can also follow Cirque on Facebook for news and other updates!
