Chalkboard Nails on The Today Show

Hi guys! I just wanted to make a quick post about this because I'm so excited... one of my nail photos was shown on The Today Show this morning! It was shown in a segment about parenting trends for 2013, with DIY nail art being chosen as one of the trends for teens. This clip will jump right to the part about nails, but you can also view the full video at the source link if you're interested.

I was aware there was a possibility of my nails being shown ahead of time, but nothing could have prepared me for the excitement of watching my nails on national TV! I also want to thank all of you that took the time to let me know that you had seen the segment; I love that you all are looking out for me.

Congratulations are also in order for Syl and Sam of Lipgloss and Black for their adorable cat manicure being featured!

    I was watching in real time, and I was like, I know those nails!!! It felt like I needed to call someone and say so-and-so was just on TV! But it has to be pretty cool when someone can just pick out your fingers without prior knowledge. Congrats again and keep up the great work!

    Oh that is so awesome - congratulations! Your swatches and nails pics are consistently the best, so I am not surprised the Today show picked up on that.

    Is it a problem that I am, well, let's just say MANY years removed from tweendom, and I own that polish (I think it's Lush Lacquer Snow Globe) - ?!?!! Is this a hint? =) Oh no....

    Anyway, congratulations again! that is so wonderful!

    Oh WOW, that is soo cool! Congratulations!! I love Lush Laquer - Color Me Gray and those are some perfect swatches :) When I was a little girl I had just the same humming top (bromtol) with all the rainbow colours......soo I'm vintage now ;)

    I watch the Today Show pretty much every AM and I did 'hear' the spot they did when they were running down some trends and got to nail art...mentioned big with teens and I looked up from my multi-tasking of going trough my email while Today Show is on and I only saw them show some nail apps and my eyes went right off the TV to my computer again...darn it...but that's so great you got your manis featured...I have this show on Demand so I have to go back and pull it up...right now that same Today Show section is on and they are reviewing boots today....something I sooo need - black boots and black jeans - cannot believe I don't have a decent pair of black jeans this year!
