Hello! Today I have a quick stripe manicure that I did the other day using butter LONDON polishes.
The main color in this manicure is butter LONDON Blagger. It's a beautiful rich blue color, not quite a "clean" color but only just. As with all of the butter LONDON polishes I've tried, the formula is flawless. The polish basically applies itself! Okay, not really, but it's smooth, shiny, and opaque without being thick at all. I didn't take notes on this manicure, but I am pretty sure I only used one coat. The other great thing about Blagger is that it didn't stain my nails like many blues do.
The stripe down the middle is butter LONDON Slapper. It's a super vibrant teal color, which unfortunately (unlike Blagger) stains on me. I love the color and the formula though, so just double or triple up on basecoat if you wear this one. I freehanded the stripe on with a medium length striper brush.
I love the extra bit of visual interest that a quick stripe can provide! It only took a few minutes to add the stripes to all my nails, and they fancified a simpler manicure.
butter LONDON lacquers retail for $14 and can be purchased at butterlondon.com, or in high end retailers like Ulta, Dillards, and Nordstrom. Check their website for locations.
The products in this post were sent to me by the manufacturer or their PR for review.
Wow, that's so pretty! Definitely like a bit of visual interest! :)

ReplyDeleteI find teals in general stain much more than any other colors...
Omg the lighter stripe makes your nails appear so much longer, i definitely have to try this trick out *_* Awesome mani ^^
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! Slapper is one of my favorites and seeing it contrast with Blagger is very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. It kind of has an illusion to it because of the colors. :)
ReplyDeleteI love how in the second photo the stripe seems like light hitting the nail! Gorgeous! Plus, those are some of my favorite Butter colors :)
ReplyDeleteOh great!
ReplyDeleteYum! BL polishes rock my world so many great colors and yet Blagger stains like all get out, but it's worth it!

I just did a stripe mani today! Slapper is a favorite of mine too. I must get Blagger. How many blues do I really need?? :)
ReplyDeleteWow these look gorgeous together! It almost looks like a trick of the lighting haha
ReplyDeleteSimple yet beautiful! I love how the stripe elongates the nail :)
ReplyDeleteSimple, but I really life it! The stripe of teal almost looks like just a bright highlight on the blue from light, but it makes you look twice and realize its another colour!
ReplyDeleteso gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOoh love this! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought your mani was so shiny it caused a lighter looking part on the middle of your nail! This really compliments your nails and the color you used ♥.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I have both of these; I think I need to copy your design sometime! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I adore this one! It's so simply, yet so elegant. And yes, very easy to put on. Definitely up for a try!
