31 Day Challenge, Day 04: Green

Guys. I know I said I was excited for the yellow challenge, but I was also WAY EXCITED for green. Why, you may ask? Because I recently got my hands on China Glaze - Ghoulish Glow, a glow in the dark topcoat that will make any polish glowy!

I had heard that it worked best over lighter colors, and I had a light green China Glaze in my untrieds that I decided to go with. So I started with two coats of China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint...

And then I added three coats of the Ghoulish Glow. I'm actually wearing the Ghoulish Glow already in the pic above, so you can see that it barely alters the color below at all. Of course, you can see the glow topcoat on top of a dark color more, though.

I "charged up" my nails and the bottle for a bit before I took these pictures, as you would do with any other glow in the dark item. The glow doesn't last forever, but it wasn't too shabby! And I was getting some charging action just from an overhead light when I was hanging around my house, so when I went to bed they were already glowing slightly on their own.

So do you all see what I did? I did a DOUBLE GREEN MANI! Green in the daylight, green in the dark. I freaking love this glow topcoat and am so glad I purchased it. A great, unique addition to my colleciton.

  4. Nope, it's not new! You should definitely try to get your hands on it. I know it is for sale on head2toebeauty.com if you can't find it anywhere locally.
