Today's post is a set of two colors from the Zoya Smoke Collection (which is half of their Smoke & Mirrors Collection).
The first one is Yara which is a really pretty olive color with gorgeous gold flecks. The gold flecks make this shade so interesting and unique. It gives it a lovely textured look without affecting the actual texture of the polish.
The second is Neeka, which is like a cousin to Yara. It's a dusty deep purple that also has gold flecks in it. The flecks seemed less visible on Neeka than they were on Yara, though. This color can look almost brown in certain lighting and really does have a smoky feel to it.
I snagged both of these when Zoya recently held a buy one get one free event. The formula on them is fantastic. It goes on smoothly and cleanly and only required two coats. I had no issues with bubbling or with the consistency of the polish.
One thing to note though, when using Zoya, is that sometimes SV can shrink it. I think it's related to the fact that SV has the chemicals in it and Zoyas do not. I used Poshe for my topcoat on these and had no issues, as Poshe is 3-free.
I love these polishes, but if I had to pick a favorite it would definitely be Yara. Neeka is gorgeous but Yara is much less subtle. I've never been one for subtle. ;)
