The 31 Day Challenge 2013 Roundup Post

Well, here we are: the roundup post for the #31DC2013! As usual, the challenge was stressful, unforgiving, and completely and totally awesome. I produced tons of manicures, some that I am very proud of, and I tried some new techniques. I had so much fun keeping up with all of the other participants' manicures, too. I think the hashtag worked out brilliantly!

Hit the jump to check out the full gallery.

If you'd like to pin any of these, I have them readily available for you on my 31 Day Challenge 2013 Pinterest board. Please leave me a comment and let me know which manicures you liked, didn't like, your thoughts about the challenge, whatever!

I think my favorites from the bunch are the yellow bee manicure, the midnight smoke nail art, the punchy dots, and the Titans from Hercules.

Did you participate this year? Do you think you'll give it a go next year? I know I will be doing it again! I'm 3-0 in the ring with the beast!

  1. I participated this year but work was so busy for me that I ended up only doing half to 2/3 of the prompts. Next year I will definitely be more prepared going into it :)

  2. It's tough to complete, for sure! You can still finish it out though, even if it takes a little longer :)

  3. It's my first year of blogging and first time doing the challenge too. I'm proud and happy to finish even with a few hiccup along the way! :)

  4. This must be more or less the one year anniversary since I discovered you! I distinctly remember finding your round up post at the end of last years challenge :) Of course, all of the designs are amazing but my favourites are definitely the yellow bee manicure (such great brush work), the textured skulls, the lacy half moons and the Titans. You're so talented - I hope by next year my nail art skills will be advanced enough to do the challenge, even if it's at a slower rate haha!

Once again you created an amazing range of nail art for the challenge. The best I can do is narrow it down to my top five favorites from these manis, they are: the black and white smoke ones, the bee mani, the titans and the glitter placement mani, the flag and the phoenix - oh wait that's six!. I'm definitely in for next year!

  37. I want to do 31DC for the first time ever so I'm wondering: is there gonna be new tasks for 2014 or I can do this list?
BTW You have an amazing blog, you are such an inspiration!
    =^.^=

  38. I do the same prompts every year, I don't think they will be changing for 2014! :)

  39. Sorry for spamming, but I want to ask one more thing. :)
I am busy with my college and exams and it's impossible for me to do it every single day. I know it's every day challenge but may I do it every couple of days? I guess it would be 31DC through a period of 3 months :D

    ReplyDelete
  40. You can do the challenge however you want!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I've always admired your work for this challenge so thank you for all the inspiration! This'll be my first year participating and I'm super excited :3

    ReplyDelete
  42. This sounds exciting. Hope I can participate this year. 2 concerns:
    1. Do we have to post for all 31 days? or we can do for any days as convenient?
    2. Can we post and tag from any existing design which suits the theme for the day? or have to create new for all days?

    ReplyDelete
  43. It's really up to you what you choose to do. For me, part of the challenge is coming up with new nail art for every single prompt. Otherwise, it's not much of a challenge, is it? :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Thank You for your reply Sarah. Yes, its not much difficult. Infact, it sounds so exciting, i wanna try doing all days too. But I am on tour, so Its just gonna be about time management for me. I have already prepared 2-3 designs. Working on it as and when I am getting chance ;)

  45. Wow such an amazing nail art. I got good ideas there like how
to design. Colors are very attractive. The gradient base coat is gorgeous and
adds such a unique twist to the manicure. Last time I saw this type of nail art
    in beautifullady.us
