ReplyDeleteWow! This is really helpful comparison post!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool.
ReplyDeleteOh how I envy you. They are all so stunning!!
ReplyDeleteI can't get anything black and white in the UK.
ReplyDeleteThere aren't any indie polish makers either.
I don't think it's as easy to get the raw materials. I tried myself, but the companies don't sell to the public.
Some of the makers in this post ship internationally. You'll need to check the shops' policies for availability!
DeleteLots of the sellers on etsy ship to the UK Nina x :-)
DeleteI love the comparison chart/info (and the swatches)! Very cool.
ReplyDeleteNinja Polish, which sells Cover Band's "Sticks 'n Stones," ships to the UK. I finally got a bottle of SnS and LOVE it. Great comparison post, by the way, thanks!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome post!! Thank you so much for comparing them!! You rock!!
ReplyDeleteWho knew there were so many Black & White polishes out there? I know I have at least 3 of them, and now I see more to add to my collection. What a fantastic post, thanks for taking the time to do this!

ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome comparison! I have Sticks and Stones, but was wondering how the others compared. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteA slight addiction??? Yeah, sure, ok...
ReplyDeleteBut thank you for thinking of us all too! This has been most helpful!!!
Now I know what is missing in my collection! (hint - cover band LOL)
Great great post and amazing pics!
Talk about the ultimate comparison! Thanks for this! It's great. and it also confirms my need for black and whiteness!

ReplyDeleteI just counted up and I only have 11 of these! Love to have them all! I think that Sticks and Stones is my favorite one followed by Spotty Dotty white.
ReplyDeleteThis has to be one of the best post I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteSide note: I wish I had all of those glitter polishes :)
http://datyorkloves.blogspot.com/
OMG! You are obsessed. ; ) I think there are at least 3 I need though. Thanks for the comparison!
ReplyDeleteSuperior job on this comparison! I long for a # of these!
ReplyDeleteThis is sooooo useful, fantastic, thank you so much, great work!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post. I also am a bit obsessed with the black and white glitter look! My friend just bought me a bottle of Sticks & Stones and I've used it for my last 2 manis! I seriously can't get enough of it. I know I need to ration it though, it may be able before I am able to get another black and white glitter polish!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, so many great black&white glitters and I like so many of them... I only have Sticks'n Stones but now I might be needing Salt n' Pepper and Country Gazette as well. This is the kind of glitter that looks great over almost everything, that's why I like it so much.
ReplyDeleteFar out !! That is amazing. You rock!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought I had a lot of black/white glitters!! Evidently not... :)
ReplyDeleteWow! This is a GREAT post! I have been shopping for a great black/white glitter lately- this is very timely!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautifully organized post!
ReplyDeleteVery nice post :) Well done & thanks for sharing ! I think my favourite of the list would be Putting on the Ritzzz.

ReplyDeletethis is an amazing post! so much black and white glitterness! i love seeing all the different kinds!
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
ReplyDeleteOh this is so grand! I have several of these, but I have been looking for a black shatter for ages, and now I see a brand that carries just the thing I'm looking for! Seen it before by some indie brand, but it was discontinued. Thanks for this amazing post!
ReplyDeleteOh man I love them all! I think I like these the best though…Color Blind, Sprouse, and Salt n' Peppa.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of b/w glitters (I know, shoot me now) but Lush Lacquer's might just sway me.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is thank you! thank you! thank YOU!! <3 Out of all I still love the Lyndarella best! Maybe an first love type of attachment tho :) I just purchased Spotties Dottie white and Black... I like how you can use one or the other or both :)
ReplyDeleteMy sprouse didn't start out with a blue tinted base. It was colorless, now the blue glitters have bled to make the base blue-ish.
ReplyDeleteOh, interesting! Thanks for the information. I got mine in a swap and it always had a blue base, but I was curious if it was a result of bleeding or not. I do kind of like the blue base but hope the glitters don't bleed completely!
DeleteI too love and collect black and white glitters!! I have quite a few of these :D
ReplyDeleteTo be honest one of my top favourite of these is your franken! I love it!
This post has been incredibly helpful for me, thanks!
ooooh *__* now i have a problem with my bank account.
ReplyDelete<3
Sticks 'n Stones has made it to the top of my favorite polishes list. I absolutely adore it! Great post and comparisons, now I know where to look in the future before buying more b&w glitters!
ReplyDeleteExcellent comparison post! I own none of these but I think I may have to change that soon. ;)
ReplyDeleteGeez I thought I was able to resist the temptation of b&w glitter polishes but this post just ruined me. I NEED the Windestine polishes in my life!!
ReplyDeleteWhere did u get the white squares u used in your unnamed franken? I looked all over michaels for something to use, but found no white glitter of any kind, and I'm dying to make my own black and white nail polish.
ReplyDeleteMichelle from Sonoma Nail Art sent them to me, I'm not sure where she got them from.
DeleteI love the sticks & stones one! I need to get this asap
ReplyDeleteThis post is simply brilliant! I can't begin to imagine the time and work you've put into it. :)
ReplyDeletenubar black and white polka dots are good too!
ReplyDeleteAn awesome post. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI should have I'm Glowing home today! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is uber EPIC
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I have been gawking at all the Connect the Dot dupes for a couple of months and this just makes it a lot easier to see how they all stack up to each other! And I think my favorite is the Cover Band Sticks & Stones the best too. Thank you so much! (Haha, so jealous you have about 20 white and black glitters. ;) )

ReplyDeleteThis post is really awesome! I wanted to give you a heads up on Pretty & Polished Valentino. I think you have an earlier formula. I have an older bottle that looks like yours posted and 2 newer ones that have a clear base coat. Just a tip!
ReplyDeleteLove this post! Samurai Princess and Old Time Movie are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI see that this was posted in may of 2012, so i'd like to add china glaze's glitz n pieces from their bitz n peices collection. However, it is very similar to hard candy- black tie optional. Thank you for this wonderful post, i absolutely ADORE your blog.
ReplyDeleteWow this is amazing. I just found out about these black and white glitter nail polishes. I just got one by Salon Perfect called Splat! and it looks very similar to those too. Klean color also have one called Decades of Bond.
